We’re officially up and running

Hey y’all!

CURE GC is officially up and running and we are so excited! So here’s the run down of what we do. Georgia College was given 10 kids from different countries, each of them with their own need for a major surgery. But in order to have surgery that requires money, typically they cost about $1,000 each. Our mission is “healing the sick and proclaiming the kingdom of God.”

So how can you get involved?

  1. “Like us” on Facebook at www.facebook.com/curegc. Follow us on Twitter @cure_gc and Instagram @curegc.
  2. On this website click on “CUREKids” if you click on the pictures of our first five kids you can “follow” their story. A dollar is donated to every child that is liked for the month of October, for more information on the One Child Challenge visit http://cure.org/challenge/.
  3. Attend our first chapter meeting this Wednesday, October 23rd at 8:00 in Chappell Hall, Room 102.
  4. We will be having our first big event: Hoedown for Humphrey on October 30th and you aren’t going to want to miss it!

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds! Bookmark this website on your computer and stay updated with the latest news. For any questions about who we are or how to get involved contact Lindsay Attaway (President) at attawaylindsay@gmail.com or Tiana Tauiliili at Tta78002@gmail.com.
